Do what is going to make you and your fiancé happy. It's your day and you deserve to have happy memories.

Don't be afraid to ask family or close friends for help. Does Aunt Clara have good penmanship? Ask for help with addressing invitations. Does your sister Sandy have a trusted friend who caters? Ask for help with the food coordination. They will feel honored you trusted them to help make your day special. The more delegating you do, the less overwhelming your details will seem.

When you decide what type of theme or idea you want for your wedding...DO IT! Don't worry if Aunt Hillary is appalled because you've decided to marry on a beach wearing a grass skirt. This is your day. Of course, you want your guests to be comfortable and have fun, so keep the activities legal and moral.

Most importantly, the more time you have to research facilities and vendors, the better the deal you're going to get. Thus saving you money. And what's more stressful than passing out money hand over fist? Nothing we can think of!
